We would like to go on a little tour - not long, like a few hours to see Stromboli erupt at night. Is such a hting possible? Where do you get it from?

During the tourist season (excluding winter), there are night trips out of Milazzo, Vulcano, Lipari, Salina and Panarea. Most take you back to your island of departure.
On occasion, when the volcano is erupting, you can also catch a glimpse from the Stromboli to Naples overnight car ferry, which departs from Stromboli late in the evening, and returns to Stromboli from Naples in the VERY early morning. These crossings are only twice per week in each direction.
