My wife and I are going to be taking a car from Florence to Rome and breaking it up over three days. Our first stop is going to be in Panzano for their wine festival on Sept 19th. We are wanting to lodge further south but am having a tough time deciding where to stay. I wanted to find a neat agriturismo that was either around Siena or a bit north. Any recommendations on towns, hotels, agriturismo etc. to stay in would be much appreciated.
