We need one a night's hotel stay in Rome for our return from Tuscany due to an early a.m. flight (FCO). I have sent out over 12 request and all returned with a "nothing available". I believe most places prefer more than a one night stay. Any suggestions? Any ideas are appreciated.

We stayed at the Hotel Lancelot in Rome.
Family-run, friendly staff, great meals, has a lift, very clean, very quiet, about a 5-min. walk from the Colosseum.

There were 298 availabilities on venere.com for the night you're looking for. All kinds of prices and locations, of course, but you might give it a try!

Use venere or trip advisor to do a search. I'm sure you'll find something. I generally book only 3 - 4 weeks pior to my trip and always find something. May not be my first choice but something quite OK.
