My husband and I are trying to decide whether we will spend more time in Zurich, or if we will go to Italy for most of our European trip. What is there to do in Zurich? What do you all like about that city? Is it cold even in the summer?

Zurich is one of those places that's nice to live in, but has limited tourist appeal. It's top attractions are the Zoo, and the National Museum. I would spend extra time in the Swiss Alps (like the Berner Oberland), or nearby Luzern.

Ditto on Luzern.
Having been to CH many times,it's a quick train ride there from Zurich.
Good shopping,but better scenery.
