50th birthday dinner in Italy? and hotels

Hi All,
Going to take my teen son and mother to Italy in Feb during a school break.

Just so happens that I am turning 50 during the trip. Would appreciate any recommendations for a special place for my 50th dinner. Doesn't have to be super fancy or a real foodie type place; but looking for memorable!
Any suggestions either in Venice, Rome or Florence?

Also - my mom and I have been to Rome and Florence - considering adding Venice. 7 nights to play with.
3 Rome; 2 Florence; 2 Venice? or too much jumping?

Rome - any feedback on Babuino 181?
Florence - any feedback on Hotel Brunnellschi?

Thanks in advance!

A 2 night stay is really only a day and a half
Every move takes a half a day minimum
On a 7 night trip pick no more than 2 locations to fully enjoy them both
And there is nothing wrong with staying all 7 in one location- add in a day trip or 2

If you stayed in Venice the whole time, you would have lots of great options for day trips: Burano, Torcello in the lagoon to the north (by vaporetto), Padova, Vicenza, Verona to the west, Bassano del Grappa to the northwest (all by train), etc.

Also, if youโ€™re in Venice on your birthday, you could celebrate at a cicchetti bar (or several).
