We're heading for Rome this X'mas and would like to know if an itinerary we planned is "doable." WSo far we've purchased skip the line tours to the Colosseum and Galleria Borghessi on the 27th Vatican and Necropolis on the 29th. we are also waiting on a favorable response on midnight mass on the 24th. Other that walking around parks, piazzas,& fountains on Christmas Day, we have Thursday ans Friday (27-28) open,and we were thinking of taking the train to Milan and Florence.
Is it possible to leave on an early train to Milan, then sleep in Florence to do the second free day then take the late train back to Rome for out Vatican tours the next day? We leave Sunday for Paris...
