Traveling with a friend and this is our itinerary but still not sure about whether to visit Nice? We are traveling for about 7 weeks. It sounds like a lot but it will go by fast but I really hope it doesn’t especially when I’m in Sorrento! I’m meeting a friend I met last year. : )
Toronto to England (May 3) Train to Nottingham Nottingham: 4-5 days (May 4-8/9) London: 4 days (May 9-13) London to France (travel south to Nice) by train OR plane – Dates: (May 13 or 14, 2010) Nice (how many days, if we go?) May 14 – 16? Italy Santa Marguerita Liqure (suggested by traveler - how many days would you recommend and would you recommend it?) (May 16-18/19) Genoa (day trip) from Cinque Terre (May 19-22) Cinque Terre (4 days) – Monterrossa or Riomaggiore (La Scogliera - great reviews on Trip Advsior) Rome (5 days) (May 22-25/26) Fondi (2-3 days) (May 26-28) Positano, Sorrento, Amalfi Coast, Island of Ischia & Capri (total of 10-12 days). Based in Sorrento. (May 28-June 9) Amantea (5-6 days) (June 12-June 17) Depart from Lamezia (June 17)
It looks like I have 2 days that I can play around with (June 9/10-June 12). Would you recommend staying in Nice or even traveling to Cannes for 2 days or anywhere else in the area?
