Does anyone have experience (good/bad) with Budget Car Rental in Italy?

Used them in Portugal when I rented through expedia.co.uk. and all was fine, and am doing the same when I get to FCO this March.

I too like Autoeurope. They know there product well and have good rates and flexibility

Go to the Autoeurope.com web site, and check out their prices. Plug in yur pick-up and drop off locations and see what they can do for you.
The are a broker/consolidator based in Maine, and use all of the "big boys". They usually have the best deal, and if they don't, will meet or beat anyone else.
They frequently have specials where they throw in a free GPS.
We have been traveling to the EU since 2002, and usually use them. We have NEVER had a problem with any of the majors that they contact with.

Going direct with Budget was the cheapest when I rented in Sicily and we had no problems. I know everyone here raves about Auto Europe, but I have yet to take a trip where they had the best prices.
