This may be a delicate question, but....
Rick mentions several private tour guides in his "Rome 2010" travel guide. They all seem emminently qualified.
My question is - Which of the guides would also be fun as well as informative?

Ron in Rome
He's an American ex-pat living in Rome. He used to come here and answer Italy question. Great guy with excellent reviews. His website is full of great travel info for Rome and Italy. There are many here on the board who have used his services and raved about him.

I would use Ron in Rome too. He has a great website by the way for anyone going to Rome. Extremely informative!

We hired Ron as a guide in 2008 and he was the best. Very honest and easy going guy. We had a great time with him and his wife.I would use him again if we ever went back.
