4 Night Getaway in Italy with girlfriend

Hey,
My partner and I haven’t seen each other much lately due to work, so I’d love to surprise her with a short trip to Italy at the end of March. We’re based in Munich, so I’d prefer a destination that’s within a 7-hour drive.
I’m looking for a mix of romantic quality time and some activities/sightseeing. I thought about Lake Como, but from what I read, it's not the ideal time for a visit. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

How many nights will you sleep in IT? I visited Varenna and Bellagio on Lake Como in late March and had good weather without the crowds.

Venice and just stay completely away from San Marco and the Rialto bridge. Riding around on a vaporetto is one of my ideas of romance.

Treviso for strolling around and art (both old and modern that you won't need to make reservations to see), and good food

Padua for the Scrovegni chapel and the food markets and porticoed sidewalks

Verona for the arena, food, and interesting church art

I agree with Venice, but for a twist stay on Burano. It is much less stressed and with a lot of charming houses, shops, and restaurants.

Not much accommodation there compared to "down town" Venice, so book before you go.

Burano is very pretty, but it's a rather long vaporetto ride from Venice proper. I wouldn't want to have to do that for 3 or 4 days. The travel time is 40 to 43 minutes each way, and that just gets you to Fondamente Nove on the edge of the city. To travel onward to a different part of Venice other than on foot, you'd need to transfer to a different vaporetto line at Fondamente Nove.

In case you haven't been to Venice lately, the current price of vaporetto tickets is 9.50 euros per ride. If you anticipate spending all your time in that one place and riding the vaporetti a lot, you'll save money with one of the multi-day passes:

24 hours: 25 euros
48 hours: 35 euros
72 hours: 45 euros
168 hours (7 days): 65 euros

Verona and Padua are both great mid-size cities.
