Luggage Storage in Italy

We are taking a trip to Italy in November and need to know if the central train station in Rome and the train station in Monterosso have luggage storage or lockers where we can put our suitcases while sight seeing prior to catching a train to our next stop. We would really appreciate the help!

Hi Kathy,

If you look at the top post on this board, there's directions/a search box that will let you bring up all sorts of answers to your question which is asked fairly often here on the Helpline.

Generally there are no lockers due to security (bombing) concerns. Many places do have luggage offices where you can store your bags for a modest fee.

Rome (Termini) definitely has a left luggage counter, although the lines can be quite long and slow. I can't remember about Monterosso off the top of my head, but if you follow the directions in the 'how to search' post, I'm sure you will find the answer.
