Hi, I've decided to go ahead and make Vatican reservations for around 1 PM for a Tuesday in June. I've read various
comments about long waiting lines, etc. Some have said
usually the afternoon lines aren't as long as in the morning. I'll be sure to leave ample time to arrive early...however, just in case we get stuck in line, what
happens if we arrive late (after 1 PM)..would our reservations be cancelled? Can anyone tell me about your
experiences and late arrivals? Thanks.
We went to the Vatican after a long day at Tivoli Gardens, arriving at about 3:00...walked right in with about a 5 minute wait in line. This was in April just before Easter!
If making reservations, you don't have to wait in the lines. Walk past the line to the entrence and look for the walkway for those with reservations.
We just returned and had reservation via the Vatican. Walk in and to the reservation booth to pick up your tickets.
