Anyone have an interesting or unique restaurant (good food of course) to eat at in Catania, Palermo, Rome, Amalfi, Capri, Venice. Thanks for any suggestions.

linda - I;m sure you appreciate that your question is impossibly broad (Do you mean Michelin 3 star restaurants? Do you mean seafood or meat?)
So I will limit my response to a single and somewhat prosaic suggestion. Be sure to go to the bacari bars in Venice and sample the little snacks on display. My wife once had strawberry crab.

Yes Doug I meant it to be broad I am open to anything, seafood, pasta, anything different or unique. Thank you for your response. I will certainly try those. Are they located throughout Venice? Are they expensive? Thanks. Linda
