3 town options for staying a week - Todi, Sarteano, Semproniano

Next summer, I am spending a week in Italy with some friends for my 50th birthday. I have narrowed it down to 3 possible rentals. One in Todi, one in Sarteano, and the last in Semproniano. I really went back and forth between staying in the countryside and staying in a town. Ultimately I decided that walkability to restaurants, shops/markets, etc. took priority to views.

I am wondering if anyone has thoughts on one or more of these towns. We will have a rental car for the week. We'll do a combination of day trips and staying in town, a combination of eating out and preparing meals in our rental. Thanks for the help!

It depends on what you want to visit in the area. Both Sarteano and Todi are nice.
Todi is in south Umbria and Sarteano in Tuscany, near Chiusi Chianciano.
I had never heard of Semproniano, but to me it's kind of too small and secluded, but it's up to you.

On our recent Village Italy tour, one of our "Guide's choice" villages was Todi, and we loved it. It was charning, with plenty to do and see. If you go, please don't skip the cathedral. The fresco on the Rose Window wall is amazing, and there's a wonderful wooden carving of the Virgin.
