Next spring I'll be going to Monterosso for three months. I know it's too early to rent now, but I wanted to get an idea of the price, options, etc. Any websites/leads for where I can look for a rental for a few months?

It is never too early! If you are talking about spring 2011, you need to get it lined up now. If it is spring 2012, I'd still start reaching out to possibilities, especially for such a long duration. Try http://www.vrbo.com as a start. Or Google "apartments in Monterosso al Mare." There are many listings. I'm sure some other folks here will chime in with favorites.

Keep in mind that you can only stay in Italy for 90 days, not three months unless it is Jan, Feb, and Mar, without a special visa.

Cinque Terre is nice for a quick visit, but 3 months would probably push me over the edge of boredom. Hopefully you've been there before and know what to expect.
