My husband and I are taking an unexpected trip to Rome in early April. We are flying into Rome and have 3 days of travel before attending a conference in Rome.
Any suggestions of where to go? We've been thinking about Sorrento/Capri area or Tuscany but are open to suggestions. (We have not reserved a car but are open to the idea.)
We'll have a few days of sightseeing in Rome during the conference. Also, we spent Christmas in Rome a few years ago. We love the city but feel as if we'd like to explore a bit too.
We did spend a bit of time in Amalfi and Sorrento a few years ago and loved it. We didn't make it over to Capri though.
Also, I've never been to Tuscany so I really don't know what we're missing.
