3 days in rome and 3 days at almafi coast

Planning at least 7 days in Italy visiting Rome then Almafi coast. Any suggestions for where to stay at the coast? Would like to visit Capri. thanks for any suggestions

We like Sorrento. While not actually on the AC, it's central and allows for easier day trips to AC, Capri Naples, and Pompeii.

Throwing my vote in the CJean: Sorrento is a good central location for trips around the coast. But where are you flying home from? If it's from Rome, you don't want to be that far south the day of your flight.
