Not sure you need that much time in Positano. It's not a good base, as transportation out of town is difficult: the ferries are weather- dependent, the SITA bus SRO, and the road is heavily congested. Perhaps at one time is was less crowded, but now it's jammed from May thru about October.
How old is your daughter? What are your interests? What transportation mode will you use ? What time of year? What is it you are asking? The Forum functions best with more specific questions.
Perhaps do a Search here for others' input, as the area is discussed thoroughly weekly, it seems.
Have a great trip and safe travels!

How are you getting around Tuscany by car? If so, read all you can on ZTL zone laws.
Siena is a day trip from Florence by direct bus (1h 15m). Buy tickets for the Uffizi Gallery two-months out to guarantee a reservation.
Are you planning on taking day trips from Spello? If so, where to?

Sounds like you have been in Italy before but remember each move between cities requires one day. Maybe doing less and spending more time in each place would be a good idea. Not as much getting there, settling in, and getting out. IMHO

Spello is lovely and it is easy to get to Assisi, Perugia, Spoleto, and many more lovely locations in Umbria. If you like to hike, LMK and I can send you some ideas.

If your daughter has never been, perhaps a little more time in Rome for her, depending on her interests. I would stay trip from Florence to Siena and perhaps use those one or two saved nights in Rome. How many nights in the Volterra farmhouse? I like Volterra but you’ll probably want to do some day trips from there.
