On my first trip to Florence I did a walking tour, saw David, Uffizi gallery & Vasari corridor, plus a side trip to Pisa. I'll be going again for 2 nights this November. Any suggestions on what I should see this time? Or should I change my plans and go somewhere else for those 2 nights that I've never been, such as Ravenna. Prior to Florence (or Ravenna) I will be in Assisi, and afterwards in Venice.

Tough call. Ravenna is fabulous and has a relaxed vibe compared to Florence, but in Florence you could visit the Bargello museum and the San Marco museum, go to Piazzale Michelangelo and San Miniato al Monte, tons of places. Ravenna should have an overnight stay, if not two nights.

We loved Ravenna. The town is very welcoming, and the mosaics are amazing. I will look up the name of the place we stayed---we all thought it was great ( there were four of us on that part of the trip).
