Hi. Conference at La Nuvola. Looking for a 2 br place with washing machine for 3 people. Prefer to be along metro B for access to La nuvola and the old city.

A quick search on booking.com turned up several possibilities near the convention center and within easy walking distance of the Laurentina and Magliana stations on Linea B. I suggest that you start your search there.
VRBO and AirBnB may be worth checking out depending on your exact dates and proposed length of stay.

Thanks. I checked those sites. Looking to stay closer to the old city but with metro B access to the convention center.

OK, your easiest option would be to look at a map of the metro system and pick one of the stations between the two.
One suggestion would be to look in the vicinity of Piramide, where metro line B joins one of the bus depots making it easy to move around the city on public transport ... including the short bus ride out to Parco Appia Antica - one of our favorite day trips from central Rome.
Walking along the ancient route to visit the catacombs and acqueduct park makes for a very pleasant outing on a sunny day. Best done on a Sunday when vehicular traffic is restricted.
