26 and under and buying a train ticket in Italy

What is the "code" that Trenitalia asks for when you try to purchase a ticket for 26 and under.

Youth discounts are for those who have purchased a Carta Verde for 40 euros. Advance-purchase discounts (not based on age) are cheaper.

Also, it is not '26 and under' -- it is 'under 26'. Europeans tend to phrase it under 26 or under 18 or under 10 when they mean 25 and under, 17 and under and 9 and under.

so if you are 26, it is moot.
