My husband and I are traveling to Italy next September for our 25th wedding anniversary. We have been to Italy in 2001 but were only in Tuscany. We will be gone about 10 days. We were thinking of doing one of two options: 1) Venice, Lake Como and the Clinque Terre or 2) Rome, and the Amafi Coast. When we travel abroad, we try not to take on too much for one trip. You cannot go wrong with either of your choices. The Venice.. etc is a more calming, tranquil and poss.more romantic trip from Rome etc. But amalfi coast is stunningly beautiful! congrats on your special occasion.

Hello Anne,
My wife and I have had the opportunity to visit both of your options listed. For some reason we always go back to Sorrento and the Amalfi coast. In fact my daughter and son-in-law are in Sorrento as I write this reply celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary. Either option will be wonderful.
