Does anyone have any experience with shipping luggage from Milan to home rather than taking it to the airport and checking it? I am changing airlines and tickets when departing Milan, flying through Heathrow and then back to California, and am concerned about complications of checking luggage. I think I'd rather ship it, but would like to hear if that is a practical alternative. Thanks!
