Hello Travellers, We will be leaving Florence with a hire car about 15.30 and want to arrive in Lucca the following day about 16.00. This allows for 24 hours in the beautiful Tuscan countryside. I had thought about staying in Pienza but now think the extra kilometres driving that are needed to get there may not be worth taking away important relaxing time closer to our destination. Could anyone suggest a beautiful route from Florence to Lucca and somewhere small, rural and charming for us to stay the night. We will be two nights in Lucca and two in Cinque Terra so basically we are just looking to enjoy the scenery and the charm of a small village. Thank you
