Wondering if Rick is planning an episode of the podcast coming up on World's Fair tips or if there's a guidebook you'd recommend for planning a trip next year for it.

Hi, James. Rick doesn't usually do much related to the World's Fair/Expo. He does cover other sights and hotels of Milan in his Italy book. Milan has quite a few cheaper hotels around the train station, but reserving ahead for a hotel can help you to secure one at your price range and comfort level. You also usually reserve months ahead (any time of year) to see DaVinci's Last Supper. I attended the Lisbon Expo without much prior planning (I probably just called from Seville a day or two before).

The San Vittore Penitentiary in Milan would be a good start. Most of the top organizers have been indicted or arrested last week for bribery and corruption related to the awarding of the contracts for that event.
