2 Questions about Uffizi Annual PassaPartout--re: re-entry & 2 unrelated adults

I understand that with the regular ticket for the Uffizi there is no re-entry after one exits the museum. Does this change with an annual PassaPartout ticket? E.g., if the crowds get to be too much, could one step out for 20-30 minutes and return? It would seem that since this pass allows unlimited entries through its year, this should be possible, but does anyone know for sure?

The "family" annual PassaPartout ticket description says only "2 adults." Can these be two who not related?

I gather from other comments on the forum that the Uffizi itself is not always clear in its replies to such questions, so thought I would ask the voices of experience.

Thank you for any replies!

We've had the annual family pass and while it does provide unlimited visits, I don't think I'd leave the museum for just 20-30 minutes. You might head to the cafe on the 2nd-floor terrace for a beverage break instead, or come back later in the day or on another day.

I don't see that two adults having different last names would be an issue at all when purchasing the pass as it clearly states just "two adults together." They don't need to know you're unrelated, and no need to mention it.

Editing to add: in case you missed it, the website (https://www.uffizi.it/en/tickets#passepartout) states:
"At the moment, the Passepartout Family pass can only be purchased through the call centre (toll-free number: 800 615 615 | From abroad and mobile phones: +39 055 0354135) or at our ticket offices."

If purchasing at the ticket office - which is what I'd recommend - be sure to have your legal IDs (passports) with you...as is required when traveling Italy anyway. Someone over on a Reddit thread mentioned that they had to show their passports every time they entered the Uffizi when using their pass. As the passes are nominative, they'll be checked against your IDs.
