2 questions about arriving in Venice

Hi: We'll be arriving at Marco Polo Airport near Venice.

1: Is there an easy to find ATM machine at the airport? (I want to avoid buying Euros at home to save a bit of money).

2: Where do we buy the 3 day vaporetto pass? We'll take the bus to Venice (Plaza Roma, I think) and then hopefully buy the pass to start using it to get to the apartment we rented.

Thanks,

Kay

There are ATMs at the airport. I always buy 50 Euros or so before I go, though, just in case. And I never need to. You can buy the ACTV pass (for the vaporetto) at the tourist office at the airport and the same place you buy the ticket for the bus. You can also buy it at the vaporetto station at Piazzale Roma.

Hi, Kay-
Re, ATM's, we found one pretty much anywhere we needed one. The one we used most is about a block away from the train station, but you won't have any trouble finding one; they're pretty much everywhere.
We bought our vaporetto pass at the vaporetto stop, in front of the train station. One of the best things we did for ourselves. In the week we were there, we learned how to use the vaporetto to get anywhere. I only wish we had one here.
Have a great time! Wish we could be there to welcome you.
