We ended an Airbnb for two nights in Florence. What should we do while we’re there?
Do you have a guide book?
Read RS Italy tours for some great ideas on must sees. Mine are the Baptistry and the Uffizi and the Covered Bridge for great shopping. If you want to buy souvenirs and have time there are some Outlets across the River. Go early in the morning to the famous places. It's a wondeful place just to walk around and record scenic vistas.
2 nights = 1 full day. The exact date of that one full day is important as most museums are closed at least one day a week. A guidebook is a very good start for gathering ideas which appeal to your own interests.

Accademia and the Uffizi are closed on Mondays. The Duomo is open seven days a week.
The duomo website states that it's closed to visitors (sightseers) on Sundays and religious holidays.

Lots of suggestions here:
With so little time, I would not bother going inside the Duomo - the interior is not that interesting - the outside is much more impressive!
I love the rooftop cafe del Verone at the innocents museum. Gorgeous views - perfect place for a coffee or drink.
Be cautious with the Wikivoyage information as some of it is misleading/incorrect. For instance, about the Firenzecard:
"Buy a Firenzecard, so you skip the usual line"
Advance-timed entry reservations are still required for Uffizi Galleries, Accademia Gallery, Palazzo Vecchio Museum, Brancacci Chapel, and Tower of Palazzo Vecchio (Arnolfo Tower.) even if using the pass, and no one skips security queues - almost all major attractions have security checks - although those usually move fairly quickly.
The price for a combined ticket to the Duomo complex is also incorrect: there are 3 different versions depending on access to the various structures, and there isn't an €18 ticket that provides full entry to all of the monuments listed.
So while the page provides some good ideas, use the official websites for the most current hours, entry fees, closures, banned items, etc. OK?
