In Genoa for two days in August. What are some must-do things in Genoa? Any good restaurant recommendations?
Several black and white striped Romanesque churches: Cathedral of San Lorenzo, Basilica di Santa Maria di Castello, Chiesa di San Donato, and Santo Stefano
The monumental cemetery --- not as spectacular as Milan's but good
One of the most interesting things we've done in Genoa is to visit the greenhouses in Pra where basil is grown: https://www.serresulmare.com/en/
Here is another forum thread about things to do in Genoa and where to eat:

Restaurants: Trattoria della Grazie and Cavour modo21 for really great pesto
To-do: Museo del Mare (their emigration exhibit shouldn't be missed) and the Belvedere Castellato
We really enjoyed the vibe of Genoa, but it's not really a city full of "must-dos." It didn't help that the weather was crap the entire duration of our visit.
