The host, Silvia, is great and lives in the same building. Pedestrian only street, just inside the old city walls and just a few yards from the electric bus stop.

I have rented many apartments in Florence, but never two at once.
Does it have to be two in the same building, or just nearby?
Would a three bedroom, for five people , do?
If so, I can recommend the one we stayed in in 2019: one single bedroom, two doubles, and two bathrooms.

These are two wonderful flats - together with a small hallway in between. - but behind one doorway. We have stayed in the 1 bedroom 4 times and it is marvelous. This flat looks out over Santa Maria Novella and the sun sets are amazing. Ciarra the host is a daughter of the original owners and the whole family is warm and friendly and helpful. If COVID had not happened we would have been there last year and this year..

it may be tough to find 2 2 bedroom apt's with A/C near each other but i'm sure it's out there.
when is this trip taking place and how many people are dividing it.
is there anything on booking.com, trip advisor? may have to go further from city center to find. i was the researcher for 4 with 3 bedroom and was tough and the budget too,

The apartment is on the second floor and the owner also has a 2 bedroom apartment on the floor below it. The owner is called Simona and she is very nice and speaks English very well. The name of the apartment on VRBO is Francesca.
