How would one say "split" or "share" in Italian? I don't see this phrase in my Italian language guidebooks. In other words if my wife and I want to split/share an entree, how wouuld you say that to the waiter? I've used hand gestures successfully in the past, but would like to actually say it.

For example, if you want to share an order of wild boar:
"Vorrei un'ordine di cinghiale da dividere con mia moglie, grazie. "
da dividere is the verb, or you can ask for "un piattino" with the excuse that "...mia moglie vuole assiaggiare."..or
"per far provare a mia moglie"
