18-25 Reduced ticket in Florence if EU RESIDENT but not CITIZEN

Hi! I know many questions have been asked about the strict "reduced" ticket pricing for museums in Italy, however, my situation is especially particular and I was hoping to get some advice.

I am a full time student under the age of 25 in Ireland and have a residence permit for Ireland, as I am attending Trinity College Dublin. I plan on visiting Florence for a few days (along with my EU citizen friends) and am wondering if I could qualify for the drastically cheaper reduced ticket prices for the big museums like the Uffizi, Bargello, Duomo, and Accademia. I have a valid Trinity student ID (with expiration date), resident permit card for Ireland, and my American passport (I am an American citizen).

Does anyone know if the reduced ticket prices are specifically for EU citizens and not residents, and do they tend to enforce this distinction? I am hesitant to spend lots of money buying full priced tickets online, only to find out I qualify, and vice versa.

Thank you!

I just checked the Uffizi official website and it specifies that EU citizens only 18+ / -26 are eligible for its reduced rate. Citizens of 4 non-EU countries are also eligible, but the United States is not one of those 4 countries. You should be able to find equivalent information on the official websites of the other Florence sights you wish to visit.
