Milan hotels

We are coming into the Train Station Centrale. Any recommendations on hotels? Has anyone had luck with Priceline? I'm a little afraid they'll put us in some obscure hotel far away from bus or metro connections. We would prefer a nice hotel close to the train station so that we can store our luggage on the morning that we have to leave back for Nice.

We stayed at "The Best" Hotel in April. It's not elegant but certainly convenient to the train station (5-minute walk) and the metro for visiting sites in Milan. We paid 80 Euro a night.
