17 day trip to italy

sounds like a lot of hiking ---how many miles between towns---as my boyfriend walks with a cane. Just got back from jordan, etc., but no hiking. diane

I had the same thought as Frank II. And then I had to go google 'Kreskin hat'.

Diane, assuming you are referring to the RS tour, it's a bus tour. There's no hiking between towns (except maybe Cinque Terre). However, you do have to be reasonably fit and Italy isn't exactly cane-friendly. There are many steps, cobblestones, and uneven sidewalks and I think it would be difficult and exhausting to keep up with a large tour group. Might be better to do it independently, so you can go at your own pace.

Wow !! I have seen some posting where we have to read between the lines. But this one takes the grand prize. Italy is a big county with well established public transit and rail system. Not a third world country where you walk between villages. What are you asking? A little clarity, please !!

diane,

What is your question? Could you provide some additional information?

I think she's asking about the RS 17 day Italy Tour....but I left my Kreskin hat somewhere else.
