I went to Malta for a college spring break trip 7 years ago. We had a lovely time. I would say it's worth visiting only if it's the only place you're going to go. We spent ten days exploring Malta and the lesser islands around it. Some would label it as a tourist trap, but for a week somewhere to relax and enjoy another culture, it was perfect.
