First time family trip to Europe. Any opinions regarding Easy Jet vs. Vueling airlines for flight from Paris to Rome. Rates are comparable. Does one line have better record for dependability, safety, etc.?

It's a toss-up really, in terms of service and reliability. I have no complaints about either, altho Vueling's planes are a bit newer. Overall, though, check both airlines' baggage restrictions, then pick the one with the schedule that'll fit into your plans. The only other consideration might be CDG versus Orly in terms of a departure airport. Orly's a little closer to Paris, and a good deal easier to move around in.
