Hotel in Naples

We are ending up in Naples on Sat May 23. 2015 ( dropped off at the train station around 11am ) , flight out the next day at 7am - any recommendations for a hotel for the overnight. I have not travelled to this area before and not certain of the distance to airport from the city centre.

Thanks in advance

Hi, Paula. I always stay at a B&B near the station, perhaps three blocks away. Rooftop terrace with great views and a hot tub, breakfast treats made by the owners, very reasonably priced. Let me know if you want the name of it.

Hi would the above mentioned B&B be suitable for a family of four in Naples for a few days, visiting Pompeii, Hurculaneum, museum etc. If so, I would love the name too. Thanks

then under 'My options',

click on 'view private messages' and that's it!

Paula,

You might have a look at Hotel Chiaia in Naples. It's in a nice location (as I recall, in the same building as an Embassy), very comfortable and the staff are wonderful. Ask the staff the day prior to your airport trip, and I'm sure they'll be able to pre-arrange transportation for you.

While there be sure to visit the Grand Caffe Gambrinus which is at the end of the block. The pastries there are wonderful, and it's a great place to sit on the outside patio with a glass of Limoncello and watch the procession around the Piazza.

Orsini46 B & B in Naples is wonderful!!! Good location, three very comfortable and lovely rooms, terrific breakfast and very helpful hosts. Walkable to all areas of downtown Naples, including a healthy walk to the Museum and the train station. Excellent reviews on TA and other sites. Maybe the location is not perfect for your very brief stay Paula, but certainly wonderful for others who will be visiting Naples for a longer stay.
