14 days in Sicily in June!

Warm hello to all fellow travellers :)

I'd like to get some opinions from you on the itinerary I've created for myself and my husband for our 2-week holiday in Sicily in the oncoming June. For the moment it looks like that:

4 arrival at Catania airport, getting to an agriturismo near Noto and rest (6 nights here)
5 Ragusa + Modica
6 riserva naturale cavagrande del casibile + fontane bianche beach
7 Siracusa
8 valle dell’anapo and rest
9 Noto + calamosche beach or vendicari beach
10 departing for Agrigento, valley of the temples in the afternoon (1 night close to Scala dei Turchi)
11 on the way to Trapani province we stop at Sciacca OR Torre Salsa beach and mafia museum in Salemi (4 nights close to Erice)
12 Zingaro Reserve + San Vito lo capo beach
13 Riserva naturale monte cofano + Erice
14 Egadi islands
15 vineyards + Segesta, arrival at Graterri (3 nights)
16 Castelbuono + parco naturalle delle madonie
17 Cefalu with its Lungomare beach
18 drive to Catania airport

I'd welcome any tips!
Thanks!
Natalia

We spent a week in Sicily last year just in siracusa and agrigento so you are way more energetic than we were! As you drive to agrigento, consider a stop at the Roman villa in Piazza Armerina to see the spectacular floor mosaics.

And be sure to spend some time in siracusa wandering around in Ortigia, the old city. My daughter did 6 weeks summer study there in 2011 and loved it. Her professor helped produce a fun video introduction to the Greek history of the town called SYRACUSE 3D Reborn - cheesy sounding title but we found it a nice overview. It's just off the piazza del duomo.

Others on this forum have spent a lot of time in sicily and can advise on other aspects. Have a great trip!

Hi Natalia, how did your trip turn out? I am currently traveling in Sicily, with some flexible days we're trying to figure out what to do with (this is why we came semi-off season). We are especially interested in getting some good beach time in (it's still just warm enough) as well as some inland mountain towns like in the Madonie park area. Also interested in Siracusa area too. Any advice really appreciated, especially if you discovered anywhere off the beaten track or not in the guidebooks. We ended up at scopello for 2 nights and it is sooo touristy with not much else. Not what we're into.

Thanks so much! Maggie
