14 days in Italy - help!

My sister and I have 14 full days in Italy (May 19-June3), not counting the travel days. Our itinerary is currently the following but we haven't booked any hotels yet and I am wondering if we should skip Capri/Naples and go to Cinque Terre. Any help you can give (even if you tell me our itinerary is horrible and we should start over!) would be greatly appreciated.

Rome - 3 days (May 20, 21, 22)
Naples - 1 day (day trip to Pompeii)(May 23)
Capri - 2 days (May 24, 25)
travel to Florence (May 26)
Florence - 4 days (May 27, 28, 29, 30)
Venice - (May 31, June 1, 2)

Please help! We are flying out of Venice so we don't have to go back to Rome. Molte grazie.

I would suggest a trip to the town of Amalfi.
There is a fantastic hotel there on a cliff.... Called Luna Convento.
It was a previous Fransican monestary and the swimming pool is located down the cliff built into a rock. AWESOME
The city of Amalfi is wonderful and not as crowed as Positano. Plus the neighboring town of Atrani is wonderful and worth an afternoon...you can walk from the hotel...it is literally right around the corner.

You are going to spend at least half a day traveling between cities and getting settled in a new place so May 23 is not reasonable to travel to Naples, see Pompeii and Naples. If you want to go to that area, stay in Sorrento 23rd to 26th and see Capri, Amalfi coast and Pompeii. You will find it is so nice to leave your stuff and enjoy the days sightseeing then the evenings wandering around town.
