14 day itinerary

Can you suggest a 14 day itinerary that will include Tuscany and Positano for sure and anywhere else we would have time for?

Barbara: If you give the readers on this website some specific ideas of what you want to do and where you want to go, you'll get some help.

1. When are you going? 2. Will you have a car? 3. Who is taking this trip? Ages? 4. Have you been to Italy before? 5. When you say "Tuscany," were you picturing wineries, Florence, hill towns, or something else? Or, to put it another way, what did you want or hope to see on this trip? And is there anything that you know doesn't interest you?
6. Have you already bought airline tickets (meaning your starting and ending points are fixed)? The more information we have, the more useful help you'll get in return.

Barbara, As the others have mentioned, some additional information would be really helpful! To add to Harold's questions..... > what type of activities are you interested in - art galleries, Museums, historic sites, etc.? > are you planning to get from Tuscany to Positano via public transit? There's no rail station in Positano, so you'll be using a combination of Trenitalia, Circumvesuviana and Bus if travelling on public transit. Cheers!

It will be me and my husband, in September. I have been to Italy before, but he hasn't. We would like to see Venice, Tuscany, yes wineries and cooking class, Florence and some beaches and coastal towns either Positano or maybe Italian Riviera. I don't want to rush and see the whole country in 2 weeks. We like art museums and good food and beautiful scenery. I guess you need a car to travel through Tuscany? But I guess we will take a train between the major cities. Don't have airline tickets yet so I can fly into and out of different cities from Chicago.
