Julie, I have to agree with Nigel in your other Thread, in that it would have been nice to keep the replies in the same place. I have a few comments on your proposed Itinerary..... As you'll arrive in Venice on the 24th, so likely won't have much time for sightseeing. In addition to the time to get from the airport to your Hotel, you'll be jet lagged so probably won't have the energy to start touring right away. In order to minimize travel times between locations, you might consider travelling Venice > Florence > Cinque Terre > Siena > Orvieto > Rome. This is still somewhat of a "busy" Itinerary, so you won't have a lot of time to explore each place. Keep in mind that every time you change locations, you'll need to allow about half a day. Considering the occasion, you might consider skipping Orvieto and adding one day to the Cinque Terre and one day to Rome. The extra day in Rome could be used for a day trip to Orvieto, which is easy as it's only one hour by train. I'll also reply in your other Thread. Congratulations and happy travels!
