Thinking two nights in Milan to see the Duomo and Last Supper, up to Lake Como for 4 (?) nights, staying where? Train down to perhaps Santa Margherita, from there visit Genoa, Cinque Terre, Portofino. But I know there are less flashy seaside towns, maybe cheaper, as "home base"? Is Genoa a day trip, or am I missing something?
