Some friends and I will be traveling through Germany, Italy and France in October. Has anyone ever had any problems with Eurail travel in any of those countries?

My family had a Eurail pass for France and Switzerland in June 2006.We also used it to get a discount on the Eurostar from Paris to London. It worked great. We had no problems. I would suggest you try try to get 1st class tickets if you can afford it. It costs slightly more but the seats are bigger and more space is allowed.
