I am staying at the I Veroni vineyard guest house in Tuscany on September 224,25th,and 26. The location is aprox. 10 miles south of florence. While there I would love to tour the chianti wine region. I am thinking of 2 vineyards with tasting, and stop through a couple of towns. I noticed some of the prices are very expensive. Do you have a suggestion. I DO NOT WANT TO DRIVE!!!!!!!!! Tours By Roberto is recommended in Rick's Book and i saw Roberto on this tv show. I have a tour booked with him on the 30th. I had a friend go in June and like it. His private tours are more expensive but his group tours with 6 people are more reasonable. You can check them out at the link below.
