What is the best way to get from Florence to Positano by bus/train/boat?

Freccia train from Firenze SMN to Napoli Centrale (less than 3 hrs) Circumvesuviana train from NA C.le to Sorrento (70 min) Sita bus from Sorrento to Positano (less than 1 hr)
If all planets align, you can make it in about 5 hours.

the most relaxing way would be to take a train from Florence to Salerno, then walk the 150 meters it takes to get to the tourist port and take a ferry over there....but you need to make sure you are around a good time for those....

If you take the boat from Naples to Positano, I believe you would need a bus/taxi to get from the train station to the port....it really is much easier for everybody to take the 2 legs with the train to Salerno and ferry to Positano besides 3 going through Naples (train, bus, ferry or train, train, bus)
