Traveling with food?

I've not traveled since having a stroke that affected my memory. So, I can't remember what the policy is for carrying food in either your carry on or checked bags when traveling outside the country. I'm hypogycemic and need to keep wrapped snacks with me at all times.

As long as they're not liquids or gels (like yoghurt) you should be fine. Cheese and crackers, etc., nut/trail mix are all ok. Glad you're up and about and going to travel again!

If you take fruit/vegetables on the flight or checked luggage, you can't bring that though customs into Europe, so either consume on the plane, or just leave on the plane for the cleaning crew to dispose of.
