REntal cars in Italy

I am trying to rent a car to be picked up in Orvieto and dropped off in Arezzo. I want to rent through Avis because I thought their locations were nearest to the train stations, but I can't get any confirmation on this. Does anyone know if any of these rental car locations are near the train stations? Or does anyone have an alternative? We're coming from Rome and going to Motepulciano and thought that picking up the car in in Orvieto would be a nice location. From Arezzo we're taking the train to Venice. We don't want to drive in Rome or in Florence. Any help will be most appreciated.

You are afraid of driving in Florence and you go to Arezzo? Do you know that in Tuscany we make fun of Aretini driving? The same jokes that Americans have about Chinese drivers, we have in Florence about the Aretini at the wheel. Well, what can I say? Take your chance driving in Arezzo.
In any case, the AVIS in Arezzo is directly across the station at the corner with via Guido Monaco. They have a big red sign, you can't miss it. Since you are there, after you return your car, visit Arezzo. Go to the Corso Italia, Piazza Grande, all the way to Il Prato, on top of the hill. There are a couple of things that are interesting. Arezzo is where Benigni's movie "La vita e' bella" (Life is Beautiful) was filmed. Rent it before you go, if you've never seen it.

We may have to rethink our plans. Thanks for all of the input. Susan

Try AutoEurope or Kemwal. This past trip we made reservation through Kemwal and picked up car in LaSpezia (Hertz) and dropped off in Orvieto. Car rental was for 4 days, zero deductible, for $200.
