I know this is probably a stupid question, but I have to ask it because I haven't actually seen it spelled out ANYWHERE: Can I travel on any train with a rail pass? I will be in Italy for 22 days this summer with my family of 4. We will be traveling Rome (5 nights) to Pisa(1night) to Cinque Terre (5nights), to Milan(2), Verona(2), and to Venice(4) by train. From there I will rent a car for a leisurely 2 day drive back to Rome to fly home. I have come across many websites selling passes(raileurope, italiarail, eurostar, trenitalia, and of course, Rick Steve's) Do all these passes (except eurostar) use the same trains? Thanks! :)
