14 day itinerary Amalfi Coast, Matera, Naples

Should we add a day in Matera and do a day trip to Alberobello?

We are planning a 14 day trip in late September early October. We will be flying in and out of Naples. We have put together a tentative itinerary.
We would like recommendations for a driver and guides, day trips or walking tours, a cooking class, up scale hotels, restaurants. We appreciate all suggestions as we begin our planning!

Day 1 arrival Naples
Day 2-3 stay in Matera; search family records in Colobraro
Day 4-7 Positano/Amalfi
Day 8-12 Sorrento/Capri/Pompeii

Day 13-Naples
Day 14- departure

It seems to me it would be be more efficient ( less back tracking) to do your Positano/Amalfi days after Matera/Colobraro; then to Sorrento and use it as a base to do Capri and Pompeii and then finish in Naples
