We took the one from Chef Andrea Consigli at Cooking Classes In Rome and recommend it highly. We had a great time. He's very funny, in that indignant chef sort of way. His girlfriend is American and does the logistics. The food was delicious and the price was a lot better than some of the other cooking classes. Photos of our class here. It was a highlight of our trip. (We found it convenient to schedule this on a Monday, as so many of the museums are closed on Monday.) Happy travels.

We had a lot of fun going for a fully hands-on cooking day out in the Rome countryside with Convivio Rome (http://www.conviviorome.com). Chef Guido is an excellent teacher and made sure that all of my family enjoyed participating in his hands-on lesson. Guido is passionate about local organic food and sources all ingredients from local farmers. The dishes we prepared under his watchful eye were absolutely delicious!
I struggle to find sufficient words to describe the day. It was perfect, and the highlight of our 5 days in Rome. We do hope to visit them again the next time we are in Italy.

We will be in Rome in July and also plan to take a one day cooking class with "Cooking In Rome" as two couples that we have been life-long friends with both took separate trips in 2013 to Rome and both took this class and say it was one of the highlights of their trip.
